Ever heard of Reset or Theory Interactive? Don’t be surprised if you haven’t. Instead, you should be surprised that Reset’s debut trailer is not rendered CGI – it’s actually all ingame graphics. And it’s all exclusive for PC.
Besides revolutionary graphics, Reset might become a really interesting game. It is described by the developers as a “first person puzzle game with strong emphasis on story and atmosphere”. The player will also have the ability to travel back in time wich makes the player him- or herself a co-op player.
You can find more info about Reset from the developers here

The science fiction-oriented fps Crysis is set to return again in the second quarter of 2013 with Crysis 3. Crytek and Electronic Arts just recently released a teaser trailer of what is to come. The infamous Army Delta Force officer Laurence “Prophet” Barnes returns once more to New York, and it’s not a lovely sight. The city has been turned into a large biodome, basicly a jungle, by Cell Corporation. Prophet takes on the role as the hunter with the goal to kill everyone in the dome with the help of the hightech weapon known as the Nanosuit.
Devoloper Crytek has been praised for the companys graphic achievements. At the same time, Crysis 2 was critized for its linearity. This is of course something that the whole genre is known for nowdays, and hopefully we will see a sequel which has embraced the criticism. Crysis 3 will also (of course) be run on the CryEngine 3 motor.
Star Wars: The Old Republic‘s patch 1.2 will be released tomorrow and Bioware is tuning the action up another level. Beside the implementation of the long awaited Legacy-system (which has been postponed since the release), one new raid called “Explosive Conflict”, as well as the flashpoint “The Lost Island” will be added to a galaxy far far away. The Lost Island is located on the planet Ord Mantell and follows the story of the operation Kaon Under Siege (it takes place immediately after it). Having learned the identity of the culprit responsible for the outbreak of the Rakghoul virus at Tion Hegemony, you and your party travel to Ord Mantell to put an end to the madness before the virus can spread any further.
The expanded universe and the new pve content is not all that is coming with patch 1.2. One of the more interesting additions to Star Wars: The Old Republic is the all new warzone Novare Coast. The main objective is to secure a vital beach, and the team that controls the beach controls the planet. In order to do this, you need to possess three big turrets, much like the warzone Alderaan Civil War.
Biowares space-MMO seems to remain a strong competitor to World of Warcraft and has stabilized its subscribers around 2 million. If you are one of those players who is longing for tomorrows adventure; may the Force be with you!

New Maps, Characters, Weapons and more in this awesome expansion to Mass Effect 3. It will definitely take the multi player experience to the next level!
What does sound and music add to the game experience? Everything! Youtube user “Omega52″ wanted to try Battlefield 3 with a different approach. He removed the standard sound effects and added music and sound from old Nintendo 8-bit classics, such as Contra, Top Gun, Journey to Silius and Batman. The result was amazing!
Omega 52′s Battlefield 3+NES fusion might only be a playful experiment, but it is also a testament to how much sound influence reality of the gameplay. If modern games grows more real everyday, then perhaps this is a good way of keeping it just a game and not a simulator?
Hopefully Omega 52′s experiment will turn into a real mod. We can’t wait!
