While war rages on between Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3, mech lovers might want to take a look on Adhesive Games‘ upcoming vehicle fps known as Hawke. The future game utilizes the Unreal 3 engine and other than stunning graphics and high octane battles, the game is set to be a free-to-play experience with downloadable content. Hawke will let the player control a mecha of three types – light, heavy and all-round – on a map meant for deathmatch, siege or co-op. According to art director Khang Le the game will aim for 7-8 maps with the releasing game.
Hawke is planned to be released December 12th this year, but curious players can head over to playhawken.com for a chance on a beta invite.
